Pennsylvania's Louis Consoli showed his commitment to the Bassmaster Central Opens by choosoing the Texoma event over watching his home-team Philadelphia Phillies compete in the World Series. "I have season tickets to the Phillies, I had World Series tickets and I decided to come here," Consoli said.
After a week of harsh weather conditions on Texoma, SkippyFiSH pro Lou Consoli finished 4 spots out of the money surging from 96th place on day one to 35th place on day two only to be pushed down to 54th after the final angler weighed in. "I had passed up a decent spot in practice that I should have hit. I went there on day 2 of the tournament and the fish were stacked in a ten yard spot in a marina, man I wish I made the decision to go there yesterday I would have finished in the top 30 for sure," Consoli said.
